For there to be even one pliosaur, there would have to be a population of them. You know, so they could continue to mate and produce more pliosaurs over the years. So, given that, what are the chances that not one but an entire population of pliosaurs are swimming around in a lake and an entire population of humans who are specifically looking for them and have cameras cannot detect or take one clear picture of one of the pliosaurs?
0 percent.

Keep at it Dasaji, they still exist, but they’re quite rare. Even the very best hunters are lucky to get one in their whole career.

Some guy admitted on his deathbed that he was the one who hoaxed everyone about Nessie.
Yeah I remember that, made it from a toy submarine kit and a bit of imagination. Bet he had a good chuckle at all these knuckle heads spending... ahem..make that wasting all that money chasing after chimeras.

Don’you find it ironic that scientists have real bodies of these animals to prove their existence instead of just fuzzy out of focus pictures?
No I guess you wouldn't....

Rines believes that Nessie may be dead, a victim of global warming.
This may be a good thing. I'm wondering if we could scale down Global Warming to the nano-level for pest control and get rid of, for instance, fire ants?
Maybe back up a car or a cow to a mound so the exhaust can make the world a kinder, gentler place?
Anyone else warm to the idea? Think Global, Act Local.

I don't ping the list to threads that are sacreligious or tacky or seem likely to become so.

Rines believes that Nessie may be dead, a victim of global warming.Too bad they didn't tell us he was about to die. We could have had a 'monster bash' on the beach. A few more minutes on the grill and we could have had nessie burgers. LOL!

Unbeknownst to most people, there is a secret underwater tunnel which connects Loch Ness with Lake Champlain on the New York-Vermont border.
The Loch Ness monster travels back and forth between the two lakes and is therefore both the Loch Ness monster AND Champie.

Global Warming is bad enough, but just wait until they try to shut down space exploration because of Global Waning resulting in gravitational loss, caused by anthropogenic mass up-chucking at escape velocity.

Not sure about Bigfoot, but it has certainly wreaked havoc with Critical Yeti Habitat!
If it keeps up, they’ll have to shave their bodies in summer just to have any slim chance of survival.
