McCain is not a leftist. He may not be as conservative as we would like on some issues but his record is unmistakable when it comes to Taxes, spending, Pro-Life and no special rights for homosexuals. I never thought I’d vote for McCain but provided he moves right and chooses a conservative VP then I’ll vote for him. To say there is no difference between McCain and Obama is just a lie. Not liking him is fine but hating him is not an excuse to embrace defeat.

McCain-Feingold.
McCain-Kennedy.
McCain-Lieberman.
McCain-Edwards.
Pro-abortion (you can't be pro-life and still be in favor of federally-funded embryonic stem cell research)
Opposed the Same-Sex Marriage Ban as "unRepublican."
Anti-Second Amendment.
Pro-Amnesty for foreign invaders.
...I'm sorry...you were saying?
It depends on what your definition of "defeat" is. In California, conservatives were told "winning" was everything and Schwarzenegger was shoved down our throats as all the Party operatives worked to slime Tom McClintock. I said from day one that electing Arnold would not be a "win" for the people, the state, or the party.
Where did this "win" get us? We now have a leftist introducing leftist policies and advancing the goals of liberals, all under the (R) label.
I want no part of John McCain. I will work hard to elect conservatives to Congress who will oppose his vision of "Republican."
p.s. Drop the "hate" rhetoric. This has nothing to do with hate.
Screw McInsane. /rant off
I agree with you. Calling McCain a Democrat or a leftist is stupidity.
