"Well, at least the boneheads at the U.N. had enough sense to name one of their buildings after one of the greatest race horses to ever have lived."
Secretariat's nickname was "Big Red" and he was a great thoroughbred. However, the FIRST "Big Red" was the greatest. That's right, it was
Man o' War
He never lost a properly started race. The only loss was: (emphasis added)
"in Saratoga's Sanford Memorial Stakes. After a substitute starter sent the field off while he had his hindquarters to the barrier, Man o' War was working to make up lost ground when his rider, Johnny Loftus, sufferd (sic) an error in judgment, going to the inside, and the champion was boxed in. When he finally found racing room, it was a moment too late. The living legend had been upset by Upset, losing by less than a half length and carrying fifteen pounds more than the winner, who in the race of his life had covered the six furlongs in 1:11 1/5."
"Even though the great horse had outrun the Triple Crown winner, set numerous track records, and set world records that still stand today, Man o' War had never been fully extended, and he was retired without ever having the opportunity to display his full potential."
Perhaps we should rename the Pentagon 'Man O'War'.
(My apologies to all for being off topic.)

Police and U.N. security officers at the scene, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media, said the 45-year-old woman had jumped from a window after showing up to work early in the morning.
Okabe said U.N. officials would not confirm her identity even after her next of kin were notified. The official cause of death was to be determined by the medical examiner.

This has that "Forrestal" feel to it.
For those who don't recall Secretary of Defense Forrestal allegedly jumped out of a window from Walter Reed hospital almost sixty years ago. The media and the establishment called it a suicide.
They usually neglected to mention the guy was a devout Catholic in excellent spirits who was busy helping Joe McCarthy track down internal security threats.

I had nothing to do with this woman's death...believe me. Teddy advised me that it's always cleaner to drive them off bridges.

Yikes, had not heard that before. That is one of the most important positions in racing.

Journalist Who Exposes U.N. Corruption Disappears From Google FOX ^ | February 18, 2008
...Many of Lee's stories were featured prominently whenever Web users looked for news about the U.N. using the powerful Google News search engine, a vital way for media outlets both large and small to get their articles read. But beginning Feb. 13, Google News users could no longer find new stories from the Inner City Press.
