(CNN) — Likely GOP nominee John McCain said Sunday that beating an energized Democratic party in a fall election fight would be “an uphill battle all the way.”
The Arizona senator told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week that he “can out-campaign them, and I can out-debate them, and I can out-perform them” but conceded that he had his work cut out for him in the months ahead.
“…We've got to reunite the party, and we've got to re-energize the party. And I'm prepared to do that. We've got plenty of time. But I won't waste a day,” said McCain.
The Arizona senator, who is close to capturing the number of delegates required to claim the Republican nomination, has struggled to win over much of the GOP’s conservative base. But party leaders have begun to rally to his side: Monday, he is scheduled to receive the endorsement of former President George H.W. Bush.

Guess what, it’s all over the news McCain has had a bimbo eruption...a lobbyist whom he may have granted special favors to as well -great guy McCain you know he wants to take the big money influence out of politics...It appears the New York Times was waiting to break this story at a good time during the election (maybe the day before?) However, the New Republic got wind of it so it’s out. I guess we know now why the media wanted John McCain and it’s not because they like him so much. The GOP has been played. The stupid GOP. McCain knew about this in December. Unbelievable! If I didn’t despise McCain already...now I truly find him repulsive.
McCain has been accused of sleeping around with a lobbyist whom he may have granted special favors to-lying hypocrite.

BTW now is not a “good time” during the election. There are 8 months until November and this story is not only untrue but it will be long since history by then.
And another thing... It’s the Slimes fer crying out loud.
