Texas Freepers Voting For Obama In The Primary

Posted on 02/16/2008 4:27:25 PM PST by davidtalker

Need their heads examined.

Sorry for the vanity, but I simply can't remain quiet in the face of loony thinking.

I have seen a few Texas (and the rest of you in remaining primaries) saying they would vote for Obama in the Dem primary. What are you snorting? I understand it's great seeing the Clinton ship go down. However, we want her to get the Rat's nomination. She is far easier a mark than Barry. Polls confirm this too. We also want the Dems to take this race based, identity politics laden primary struggle to continue. We want blood on the floor in Denver. Superdelegates. Battles over the delegations from Michigan and Florida. That won't happen unless the beast starts winning. Personally, I am hoping she wins here in Texas. In Ohio and then Pennsylvania. Barry is going to take Wisconsin Tuesday. Otherwise, Barry is their presumptive nominee. They rally. Time for Hillary and Obama to make nice. Not a good scenario.

Please. Don't vote for Obama March 4th.

I agree. I’d rather have McCain go up against Hillary than Obama.

Do it. Bury the Beeotch.

McCain can easily handle Obama in the general.

I’m not thrilled with McCain, although I know he’s our nominee in November.

I may not vote for him in March just because it doesn’t matter, and voting for him twice in one year is too much to ask.

But I damn sure am going to get a Republican ballot, so you don’t have to worry about me voting for Obama.

Correct.

McCain has a chance against Hillary, I don't think he can beat the pretty face with the meaningless flowerey words. It will be the pretty face against the mean old man.

Nononononono. We need to get the Clintons in the election. We don’t want to be running against The Second Coming.

I think this may be the only opportunity to stop the Hildebeast antichrist.

I’m inclined to agree with you. Horrible as hillary is, Obama is extremely dangerous.

Of course, hillary is surrounded by her own mafia, as the Ickes comment today reminds us. But Obama is backed by the Chicago machine, who have been grooming him for years, and the dirty players will quickly go over to him if he wins.

I wouldn’t be so sure. After all they are turning Obama into the half-black Kennedy.

I disagree. There is no difference between Hillary and McCain in their voting record but Obama is way to the left of those two and most people know it.

Ah, common sense.

Republicans voting for Obama is one of the looniest notions I've heard in a long time.

Not only will he be harder to be beat, but he would be more dangerous as President than Hillary. He will arrive on waves of popularity with a "mandate for change." Because of his race, charisma, and popularity he would be harder for Republicans in Congress to oppose.

Hillary would be a shrill and unpopular President and would galvanize GOP opposition.
