Well we vote on PRINCIPLE. We don’t rationalize away our principles. It’s gotten to the point where the GOP has NO principles - so you keep “rationalizing” that away.
“Reality, that is pragmatic reality, leaves no alternative but voting for McCain or not voting and thereby electing Hillary.”
Good word choice!
Pragmatism is for people who have NO PRINIPLES.
We have principles.
We REQUIRE the GOP to get back to principles.
We are sick and tired of holding our noses.
Enough is ENOUGH! Let Hitlery have it. There’s not much difference between the leftist Maverick and her.
A non vote is NOT a vote for Hitlery.
Please stop this NONSENSE.
A NON VOTE isn’t a vote for anyone.
“If you dont vote you are damned for all time”
We’re not “dammed” at all. It’s just a temporary setback for the nation - 4 years.
BTW, when I die, I’ll be in heaven.
.......A NON VOTE isnt a vote for anyone.....
Think carefully about all the nonvotes for Ross Perot and then think about Bill Clinton and then weigh the value of principle against the well being of America.
While you are standing on unbridled principle for four years........ you might die, Hillary might very well get you killed
Great tag line!!
It was the saddest and yet most infuriating thing I have witnessed in my entire life. They discredited all evidence that any of our missing men were still being held even existed. They refused to accept stories of sightings and evidence presented by families and loved ones of our missing men, and in fact called the families idiots for still believing there were prisoners being held. McCain was the worst of the two, and spewed venom and hatred against anyone whose testimoney disagreed with his predetermined opinion. They ultimately declared the subject closed and locked up everything presented so there could be no further searches or research on the subject.
McCain and Kerry sentenced our remaining POW's and MIA's to death. They essentially told our Viet Con enemies, "Keep them. They're yours, we won't give you any trouble. Go ahead and kill them, because we don't want them back."
That coming from Kerry didn't surprise me, however from one who had been a prisoner himself, I expected John McCain to use his power as a senator to move heaven and earth to find and bring his missing brothers in-arms home. Sadly, the executioners at Auschwitz could not have been colder or more heartless than John McCain in those hearings. He showed himself to be a man totally devoid of humanity and compassion. If he could do this to his fellow American POW's he could easily do it to any one or anything of lesser importance. I vowed at the end of those sad and disgraceful hearings, that I would do everything in my power to oppose John McCain in anything he ever aspired to.
Consequently, I consider it my patriotic duty to vote against him. He does not deserve to be an American, let alone the president of the United States. John left his soul in VietNam.
Last week I had the good fortune to discover that there is an organization who has also never forgotten McCain and Kerry's treasonous actions. They even have a video link to those old hearings of Senator McCain berating a family member and other snippits of the hideous hearings. check out the site of VietNam Veterans against John McCain for yourself and see if you can still vote for him.
I can't and won't. To Maine Mariner, whose son, nephew and neice are in Iraq, and to originalbuckeye whose son is at USNA, keep in mind, if John voted to leave his fellow POW's in the hell-hole of Viet Nam, what makes you think he wouldn't abandon your loved ones too? Tha man has no heart.
