Since my son, nephew, niece, a cousin (presently in Iraq) have either been to or will be returning to Iraq, I will not cast a vote that will guarantee they be left in the cold by either the Bitch or the traitor (of which applies to them both). While McCain is not IMHO the best choice for a GOP nominee, he beats the hell out of what the DimocRATS have going.
For the same reasons you give- I cannot ever vote for Clinton or Obama. The thought of our military under their command should give every conservative something to think long and hard about. The detestable McCain is better than either of the libs.
We all need to stay behind our nominee. It is ridiculous to argue about it. Don’t see the left is salivating over our arguing

I agree 110%. Of the 3 realistic choices left to this country for 2008, only McCain is remotely fit to be CinC, especially in wartime but also in peacetime. I share the antipathy of nearly everyone on this board to McCain on many issues, but the thought of Shrillary or Obama Hussein as CinC should cause severe nausea to every American.
We can argue ‘till the cows drop dead what to do beyond 2008 or how to save the Republican Party for conservatism, but with so many of our finest on the battlefields I cannot contemplate watching Shrillary or Obama taking over as CinC.
