Failing to define the enemy is not supporting the troops. When our troops when to Europe in WWII, fascism was the enemy. We destroyed the enemy, and then let them re-build, sans the fascism. In the Cold War, Communist Totalitarianism was the enemy. We prosecuted the war until it became apparent that communism couldn't provide the basic needs of any society, and it imploded on itself. We're making a basic, tragic mistake here. When we decided as a country that both oil and Israel were important to protect, we have failed, over and over, to confront the basic problem the world has with Islam--not terrorism--but the root of terrorism, Islam. It is grossly unfair to our fighting men to send them over and not let them know that Islam itself is the enemy. When we pretend that an Iraq where all laws must conform with the Q'uran will produce, long term, a representative government we are fooloing ourselves and spilling blood needlessly.

In other words, if we want to win, this better be a Crusade. If we aren't willing to accept that, we shouldn't be there.

Any idea how many of our soldiers have been charged with war crimes under the current CIC? How about border guards in jail?
