I have to admit, even though I disagree with his platform, I think when he gives a speech he does a very good job. I find him to be charismatic, and that's what concerns me most about him. Gore and Kerry are both boneheads when they talk, but Obama, imo, is much more charismatic than Bill Clinton ever was.
And charisma means a lot in terms of motivating liberal voters who get excited over talk but not ideas.

I know the liberals find him charismatic, but I really don’t. His voice, with the fake black accent that he sprinkles in, irritates me to no end. He says nothing—it’s all hollow. He’s grating to me—I think I would rather listen to Al Gore. And I observe that he’s starting to believe he’s truly great having never really done anything—his head will be bigger than his ears soon.
