He seems to be the same Teflon candidate Bill Clinton was in 1992—a candidate who seems to get stronger, not weaker, in the wake of political attacks.

We have to make sure that our dislike of Obama doesn't blind us to the fact that people just like him on a gut level the same way they just liked Reagan on a gut level.

Why have so many voters fallen in love with Obama?

I DON'T KNOW WHY I LOVE HIM
(From the musical, "Barack Obama Superstar")
Tune: "I Don't Know How to Love Him"

I don't know why I love him,
My Barack, my Obama;
I've been charmed, yes really charmed,
By his trim physique, so slim and sleek--
I'm awed by his mystique.

I don't know why he's running,
I don't see any substance;
No real plan, flash in the pan,
And I've heard such empty words before
That when I close my eyes
He's just a bore.

But I like his face,
And I like his voice;
Makes my heartbeat race!
Makes me feel all moist!
I never thought I'd come to this:
Obama is my choice.

Don't you think it's rather shallow
I should vote for this fellow?
I'm the one who's always been
So pure, so pissed, so feminist;
I don't need men, oh no--
He scares me so.

But I like his face,
And I like his voice;
Makes my heartbeat race!
Makes me feel all moist!
I never thought I'd come to this:
Obama is my choice.

Yet, like in a romance novel,
I'm in love with a male model;
I've got to look! He signed my book!
My heart runs wild! I'll bear his child!
I want the world to know:
He's my "Big O"!
Obama, go!
I love you so!

Many of his votes are coming as an anti-Hillary vote.

"We might as well start calling him President Obama right now."

It would seem that way, but I honestly don't feel in any way that this guy has any sort of chance - no matter what the pundits and pollsters say. Believe me I am no fan of McCain. IMHO McCain is as shifty, and liken to, a slightly less liberal Kerry. I don't want to sound harsh, but I don't think the people in this country are ready for either a female nor black president. And that is something that secretly crosses all party lines.

This is scary. I did not know the childlish and pueril “premature ejaculation” cult of “American Pie” movies were such a widespread and enthusiastic cult in AMerica.

Mark my word, this is death. I would not be surprize if Hillary and Pelosi redon their burquas when he is elected... like when NOW supported Clinton’s abuse of women in the whitehouse and other raging imposing settlement of death on interns and vice versa... (really, the vice versa was the real shame of dirty little BillyBob who was out of control like a bad boy)

The election of Obama as President of the U.S. will prove in a decisive way why democracy is ultimately self-destructive.

An empty suit socialist with charisma and no experience who can snooker a majority of voters in a supposedly educated country is a damning indictment of democracy.

**SHUDDER**....I'm gonna hole my nose and vote Republican as a protest vote against socialism in general and totalitarianism in particular and HOPE there is no "President Obama".

Yeah, the momentum of a balloon getting larger and larger appears unstoppable, right up to the moment it pops.

Obama's mesmerized supporters remind me of the hippies of the 1960s who believed they are part of some great revolution.
Their shallow slogans and naive ideology eventually collapsed when confronted with the reality of the world.

While we are talking about Obama, check out this video on YouTube. Who knows if it is true or a Clinton plant. Interesting, none the less.

Do check out this video for a new look at the wonderkin.

and against a Republican opponent despised by most members of his party

I would not have voted for McCain until I found out about Senate Bill S.2433 which is sponsored by Obama. This guys a nut case. Imagine the hangover America will wake up to if this guys elected.

We had better make sure conservatives get out and vote for conservative congress-critters....that is the only way to minimize the damage an Obama (or McCain) presidency will do.

Obama is deeply flawed as a candidate and has few strengths.

McCain can beat him, and I believe it is in America’s interest that he do so.

For the next nine months supporters of a McCain victory need to believe and spread the following messages:

1. Obama has no record of accomplishment. He has led nothing and produced nothing.

2. Obama is an extreme leftist. On national security, taxes, abortion, guns, everything, he is the most far-left nominee ever.

Inexperienced. Extremist. That’s what he is.

He will lose.
