Right, Wes. You almost started a war with Russia singlehandedly. Let me put my sunglasses on while I bask in your brilliance.

And, don't forget, he once in an interview sheepishly admitted that the war that NATO waged in Kosovo was just as "illegal" as the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's regime, which he was railing against at the time.

I think he may be the Dems' running mate regardless of who is nominated. Neither Hillary nor Obama has any credibility as defenders of the nation, something McCain has in spades.

If the “perfumed prince” is against McCain, he must be doing something right.

Bush hasn’t threatened to keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years.

The battle for Okinawa ended in June 1945.

In July, 1945, 8th Air Force was given responsibility for flying combat missions out of what was to become Kadena Air Base. We're still there.

How many years might that be?

Kadena is one of the most important air bases we have in the Asia. Any presence in Iraq would likely be there for similar strategic and tactical reasons.

Considering the region's historical volatility, 100 years might be rather a conservative guess.

He’s the mental midget that ordered the bombing on the Chinese Embassy.

He was fired and retired; he’s been trying to get back at the military ever since.

Another good ole’ boy from Arkansas.

I wish Fox News would quit bringing him on. He really is worthless — on any topic.

...”as dangerous as Bush?” That’s not nearly dangerous enough.

For any who believe that to be dangerous, try to talk to me, after the world sees Iran mounting nukes. Oh, and learn to build a fire and send smoke signals first.

The only thing Four-star General Wesley Clark proves is that even America’s military can produce major a$$holes! He is a prime example of the type of person Billary, Obama and Liberal Democrat policy would have leading our Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines into defeat worldwide!

I’m not a big McCain fan but Wesley moves me more toward him. If Wesley doesn’t like McCain, the more reason for me to like McCain.

I disagree. Bush hasn’t threatened to keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years.

Let's pull our troops out of Germany before we discuss Iraq.

The "Bush Doctrine", due to the incompetence of the ability of the administration to communicate the plan properly was never explained largely to the public. The rest of the public was simply too stupid and limited to understand what was taking place. It consisted of a complete political overhaul of archaic Middle East societies.

That takes time and investment. The results should have been a series of strong US guided republics that would have constitutionally guided governments in place guaranteeing certain rights and freedoms for their peoples. The concept of the freedom they would have enjoyed would have affected the populaces of nearby nations, causing a domino affect toppling nearby dictator-states and muslim tyranny in the area.

However Bush was too stupid to purge the rats that infested both the state department and high level agencies in our own nation. They undermined him at every step. The democrats in the house and senate fought day and night in opposition to every move the administration made.

They basically hamstrung the effort, resulting in the mess we saw over the last four years outside of the surge, which has been successful, but years too late to make a major impact outside of Iraq.

However History will remember the scope and vision of President Bush's efforts in the Middle East. Iraq may yet be salvaged, however I'm doubtful with the current lot of presidential candidates.

And if a rat does win the White House, you can bet Iraq will begin circling the commode by December. The attacks on our own soil may not wait for the inauguration.
