The death-knell for HDDVD came when Warner Bros, with its huge library, endorsed bluray.
I know what’s going on. I watch what little TV I do on rabbit ears.
My guess is that reception up here in the mountains will be even worse with the concerter boxes after February 2009.
I bought the Take TV Last week... I really like it. The built it remote is a little flimsy but it sure is better than hooking up my computer to the tv... I haven’t taken the step to build an htpc but that will come and this Take Tv is a nice alternate to that for now...

It’s not attachment, it’s getting something for your purchase. The masses aren’t yet really comfortable with getting the 1s and 0s on their own piece of hardware re-arranged for their purchase. One of these days sure, but not yet.
Then of course there’s the fast thing. At 50GB there’s nothing fast about downloading a blu-ray worth of data.
1) Wal-Mart going Blu-ray exclusive starting this summer for sales.
2) Best Buy favoring Blu-ray.
3) NetFlix dropping HD-DVD.
4) Time Warner going Blu-ray exclusive by this summer.
5) Both Universal and Paramount seriously looking at Blu-ray releases.
6) New, lower-cost chipsets for Blu-ray players that will dramatically cut the cost of players.
...It's small wonder why HD-DVD will soon be gone.
What???
HD-DVD sucks bong water!!!
Transfer rate, CAPACITY, image resolution...
