Jesus came to earth as a Jew, but He transcends race and geography. Europeans paint him as European, Africans paint Him as African, Asians paint Him as Asian. There is no Greek nor Jew, only one in Christ Jesus. People claim Jesus came to earth as a Jew, however, His Biblical lineage comes from His mother. Mary was from the tribeS of Judah and Levi. There were/are 12 tribes, each are listed and each are given specific blessings as to who they would become.

Yes, Ju dah. and at the time of the Roman empire, the tribes were pretty much trancended by the idea of "Judeans" which encompassed most Israelites.
