Bauer thinks he is going to play the peace maker with conservatives, bringing in votes and in the process securing himself a slot in a McCain administration. I think McCain will be dissapointed if he places too much hope on Bauer as his bridge to conservatives.

Hillary is loosing to Obama (so far) and twice as many people are voting for Obama vs number of people voting for MxCain.
America is in it DEEP right now.

Bit by bit? Gary Bauer endorsed McCain in 2000. That’s a gain of exactly ZERO.

“Bit by bit, McCain is drawing conservatives to his side.”
Meanwhile, the GOP establishment is bashing conservatives as stupid, petty, childish, etc., for their ambivalence toward the anointed one.
I’ve never seen such wholesale mistreatment of a bloc that McLame desperately needs to win.

Ive never seen such wholesale mistreatment of a bloc that McLame desperately needs to win.
Their deepest desire as evidenced by the words of both Rudy and McAmnesty and the actions related to gaming the primaries so that Open primaries and Primaries in moderate to Liberal states were up front is to make conservatives irrelevant, or at least subservient to the Moderates/Liberals in the party.
And the next question should be for what?
What do they gain?
Free unfettered Illegal Immigration to provide a veritable slave labor class?
I don't get it.
Can somebody else make sense of this for me?

Voting for a liberal with an R behind his name never gave us Conservative Government.
It is time to ask is the GOP a conservative party?
Do we really advance the ideas of limited government by voting in a person who has expanded government- restricted free speech -hand cuffed our Armed forces and welcomed illegals by the millions?
GOP BOTS will tell us he has flaws but the other side is so much worse- I cannot sign on this time to the lesser evil argument -that has what got us to this point.

Most moderates and liberals are socialists/communists. They have quit believing in America to believe in the theories of C. Marx. And we will be their slaves.

For the past 10 years McCain has been elbowing, people out of his way and kicking everyone around him in the shins, now he needs them? He’d better take a course in winning friends, and influencing people, he is going to need a whole lot of new friends to pull this off.

HE thinks he HAS THEM ..one by one millions have walked into America they have the” right to vote”. and will. As no one will dare challenge them on election day. Only it will be for Hillary thats the weakness of current GOP plans or perhaps that is the plan.

ONE THING WE NEED TO DO IS VOTE REPLUBLICAN FOR ALL OTHER OFFICES! CAN WE AGREE ON THAT! Well said. I plan to support McCain compared to the other er choices. But you're right. If Congress gets a greater majority we will be in even worse trouble.
