Debbie could be prosecuted for taking medication with out a prescription. Lucky for Debbie that she does not have a husband that would rat her out to Congress.

What next, is Roger going to Report his own Mother to Congress for whipping him when he was eight years old?

Roger: "My wife is guilty, my best friend is guilty but I am innocent."

What a jerk!

Proper administration and use of HGH is not illegal. Wasn’t then, isn’t now. It’s equal to telling congress she has breast implants.

Unless you have a prescription for it, you're breaking the law. Why do you think Roger, Debbie Clemens, Knoblauch, and Pettitte were taking it from a non-degreed gym rat in secretive backrooms?

You are dreaming if you think Clemens won’t be charged.

I’m not dreaming, and he will not be charged.
Ping me if he is put on trial.

He isn’t charged with anything, and therefore guilt or innocence is not an issue.

In the 2009 Season Clemens will win 26 Games, Strike Out 325 Batters and Bat .396.

Of course that will not be in the American League nor the National League but rather the Federal League.

The Federal Prison League

Roger has been wearing Pin Stripes for Years.

Now, Roger will simply be wearing stripes.

“Debbie could be prosecuted for taking medication with out a prescription.”

The Houston DA would need to file those charges on the advice and evidence of the HPD (or FBI). That would be a stretch using 2nd-hand testimony from her spouse in a congressional hearing.

I would say she is pretty safe.

Also, I’m not terribly familiar with the rules regarding HGH. It appears HGH can be admistered by and on the recommendation of a qualified trainer (such as a PT Tech) to athletes in certain clubhouse applications (deep tissue injury, fractures, injury rehab, etc. etc.)

If it is legal, why does Roger continue to lie?

Can you please point out which bone Debbie fractured or where she had a deep tissue injury?

Big time jail time should only be awarded for crimes proven in a court of law. The evidence needs to be “beyond a shadow of a doubt”, and that does not include opinions based solely on how a defendant presents himself.

In this case, there is no credible evidence (that I have seen) that proves Clemens guilty of perjury (which is the only legal charge he could face, IIRC).

Where has our party gone? To the dogs, if unproven allegations are sufficient to deprive a man of his liberty.

Dock Ellis threw his only no-hitter on two hits of purple microdot acid back in 1070 with Pittsburgh.

Dock only thought he was pitching in 1070.

Might be wise to wait for a charge before you hold the trial before you read the verdict and before the sentence.

Just saying.

Bud Selig is just the type of commissioner the baseball owners want - WEAK. George Mitchell is a sleazy ex-Senator with a conflict of interest (BRS). McNamee is a smug dirty lying rat. The Congress is a hypocritical bunch of busybodies who would rather do anything than their real jobs - especially if it gives them face time. The entire lot are a waste of oxygen.

In 2006, I started the George W. Bush for Commissioner of Baseball campaign.

It still limps on.
