Earlier in the campaign Huckabee feigned ignorance and in a speech to some evangelicals he stated something like isnt it true that Mormons think that Jesus is Satans brother, deliberately taking some LDS doctrine out of context. He got slammed for it at the time as over the top. What really happened, if anyone cares about the truth around here when attacking Huckabee, is that he was interviewed by a NY Times reporter. He said they talked for a long time, and the reporter kept asking about religion. He said the reporter seemed to have dome a lot of research about Mormonism, so when they were taking a break, he asked him about the "Jesus and Satan" thing, which he had heard about but didn't know where it came from. He thought it was just an honest question asked off the record. When the story came out, the focus of the entire story was, "HUCKABEE CLAIMS MORMONS THINK JESUS AND SATAN ARE BROTHERS!" In other words, it was a typical NY Times hit piece on a Republican. But it is repeated endlessly and unquestioningly around here, along with every other slanted and unsourced hit piece that burbled up out of the sewer during an election year.

“Huckabee shouldnt have crossed the line with the Jesus and the Devil are brothers crap.”
If you think the “Jesus and the Devil are brothers” line is crap, take it up with the Mormons—that’s what they believe.

By your personal attacks, you already show the weakness of your position.
Sombody needs to hand you a mirror...
Anyone can take the Bible out of context, as your church has done, and make it say something.
That would be why we need modern day revelation...
The facts of the matter are your founder, Joseph Smith was into the occult, <--Lie
using the same peep stone he used for divination to translate the non-existant Golden tablets.<witnesses apparently mean nothing to you, evidence Ditto...
Thats the occult origins. <-- Christainity has the same problems, Miracles? Walking on water? Rising from the dead?
Either you have faith in something, or it's weird to you, trying to tear down someone else's faith just because it's there, now that's ignorant.
BTW, now you are threatening to attack me tonight. There is no more personal attack than to attack someone's faith. Don't you see the irony considering your first sentence here? "
By your personal attacks, you already show the weakness of your position." I do.
As for Scripture, again, I will let Scripture speak for itself in refutation of your false assertions as to what it says. Tonight.
Great, mind it I preempt with a little scripture?
There is a test in the Bible, it's in
First John 4:1-3 Let me quote the Scriptures for you so you don't have to look them up.
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world
(Emphasis added by me.)
I have asked God, according to the Bible. I prayed about the Book of Mormon I was reading, God responded and answered my prayer, my answer contained a testimony of the Book of Mormon as his word, and a testimony that Jesus Christ came to this earth to suffer for my sins, that for me he was crucified. Not that I am worth anything, but because he loves me. This is a debt I can never repay, and even if I am reviled and ridiculed for my belief, I know it was of God, for the Bible says so. So as you assault my faith tonight understand that your testimony will be weighed against the word of God which is even now burning in my soul. Make it good for you will have to find a way to explain God lying to me about truth and be more credible than God. Good luck, you'll need it.

What did people think was going to happen? A lot of freepers seemed to think they were going to force a bizarre circumstance where, even though McCain had the greatest number of delegates, there would be an insurrection at the convention, and all the delegates would instead vote for FRED & he’d go on to the presidency.
Insane, yes, but it seems to have been a fantasy playing out in the minds of lots of people.

If Willard does, he is wasting his time, energy and money. There is serious opposition to this RINO and isn't going away. Fortunately, a real conservative candidate will likely emerge, rendering Romney with no serious chance of winning the nomination.Yes, but Romney could easily fragment the vote again, driving a less-well-financed conservative out of the race and leaving us with the same result as we have this election.
We need a clean slate in 2008.

I have not made personal attacks against you. I have attacked the hellacious religion you follow. Beyond that, I can see I would be casting pearls before swine. You aren’t interested in Scripture, just attacking me because I have dared to speak the truth about your religion. Oh well. I won’t even bother. Live in your fantasy land. But be aware that if you have the wrong Jesus, you are wrong for all eternity.

...somehow, stuff always comes out in the wash... How true, how true. It's really clear to me now how much power McCain wields. He's been the shadow president these past 4 years, giving the GOP away piece by piece. And somehow no one was able to stop him, then or now.
