Buisness as usual for the Fredheads here on FreeRepublic. They sure as hell remember the RNC pushing for Chafee, but their swiss cheese memory causes amnesia regarding Fred's actions in that election.

No wonder Fred lost when you look at the hypocrisy of his supporters.

Every time Fred does something that they consider "treasonous" when other politicians do it, they give him a pass.

I guarantee you that if Mike Huckabee had travelled to Arkansas to pimp for Chafee in the 2006 primary, there would be at least five threads from the Huckabee haters to "remind" us of that fact and "prove" what an evil RINO sellout Huckabee was for siding with Chafee.

But Fred does it? Shhh. Let's plug our ears and pretend it never happened.

I predicted they'd give Fred a pass when he endorsed McCain in the primary, and I was right on that one too.
