Your Mom will be in my thoughts and prayers, 50sDad. My Wife and I just went through the same thing with her Dad. He passed away last Tuesday from terminal cancer at the age of 75.

Her Father was a great guy, and I made sure that my Wife treasured every moment they had left together.

Sometimes we just lose sight of how precious life really is, and only gain a greater understanding of it in its twilight.

Sounds like she married a great guy as well as having a great father.

I don’ think that I realized how much that I miss my own father until my husband passes away, and I saw how much it affected our children.
