California ripped as 'too queer for school'

If you care about your children, then you should homeschool, find a Christian school, participate in a homeschool co-op, pay the tuition, drive an older car, or do whatever is necessary to keep them out of California's public school system. That's the message from a new campaign, assembled under the Rescue Your Child slogan.

And it's all because the California Legislature and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger worked together to establish Senate Bill 777 and Assembly Bill 394 as law, plans that institutionalize the promotion of homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism and other alternative lifestyle choices.

First, [California] law allowed public schools to voluntarily promote homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality. Then, the law required public schools to accept homosexual, bisexual, and transsexual teachers as role models for impressionable children. Now, the law has been changed to effectively require the positive portrayal of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality to six million children in California government-controlled schools," said Randy Thomasson, chief of the Campaign for Children and Families and a leader in the movement to withdraw what supporters pray will be up to 600,000 children from public districts in the state.

At a Los Angeles news conference, Thomasson's organization kicked off the statewide drive for exodus. The new website provides information to parents on just what they have to do, and how to do it, in protect their children from the "gay" agenda now standardized throughout the state.

Officials said SB 777 "functionally requires public school instructional materials and school-sponsored activities to positively portray cross-dressing, sex-change operations, homosexual 'marriages,' and all aspects of homosexuality and bisexuality, including so-called 'gay history.'"

The second bill, AB 394, "requires public schools to distribute controversial material to teachers, students, and parents which promotes transsexuality, bisexuality, and homosexuality, all under the guise of 'anti-harassment' training," the group said.

There are too many things wrong here to even go into them.

I can only just shake my head.

I’m sure parents didn’t see anything wrong with rearing their children in Sodom and Gomorrah either...until the brimstone fell from the sky. God’s standards are eternal and will not change because the CA legislature thinks it is God.

I recall watching reporterette Maria Shriver, famous Kennedyette and wife of Awnold, report on a story about a boy whose parents requested a change of teachers because his teacher had a photo of his male “partner” on his desk. She asked the Principal, “Is that legal?”, referring to THE REQUEST FOR TRANSFER!!!!!

Quite an insight into the liberal mind.

The California School System- of, by, and for Homosexuals. Massachusetts is moving that way, also. The rest of the country is a little further behind.

This is what the left and the social libertarians see as progress.

And it's all because the California Legislature and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger worked together to establish Senate Bill 777 and Assembly Bill 394 as law

Clue train stopping here:

It's not the "leaders" - they are following the people.

I am going to paraphrase Neal Boortz here:

Putting your kid in a government school is like leaving your baby in a hot car.

No, Maria, you just get to do anything you want to our children because YOU believe in it. Oh, and we, the taxpayers, will PAY you to do it.

And the penalty for breaking your repulsive laws would be???

Thank God we homeschooled.

The left is going to scream if enough children leave.

If Obama or Hillary get into power, watch them shut down homeschooling as fast as they can. They’ll do it “to protect public schooling”.

Please don’t be such an a$$. It’s really, really disgusting when a Freeper accuses other Freepers (or anybody) of being child abusers or, in this case, child killers, simply because their children attend public school.

“...If Obama or Hillary get into power, watch them shut down homeschooling as fast as they can. They’ll do it “to protect public schooling”.”

...and to protect the poor abused home-schooled children that only the “professionals” can properly educate.

Next year I’m moving marksmanship to the top of our homeschooling curriculum.

I believe you are incorrect. [T]he people passed Proposition 22 which Schwarznegger honored. Then he said he wouldn't sign S.B. 777, but he lied. When they weren't in session Schwarzneggar signed S.B. 777, a bill pushed by lesbian Congressman Sheila Kuehl. [T]he people of California didn't want S.B. 777 or any similar law passed in California.

The following is from the California Exodus Mandate front page: http://www.californiaexodus.org/

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

A Challenge to the Christian Employees of the California School System

Every Christian employee of the California public schools must understand that the new school legislation requires all school employees, and particularly teachers and administrators, to collaborate in the spiritual and psychological molestation of children mandated by SB 777 and related legislation.

>Every school employee needs to ask himself or herself whether he can remain in such a system.

I will not use the words “child abuse”, but I will say the following:

To be a moral, caring, and ethical parent of a government institutionalized child will be **MUCH** more work than homeschooling. Why?

Answer: The parent will need to deprogram the child every night by careful reviewing every class. The parent will need to read and refute every textbook, attempt to attend every assembly, review and refute every film shown, review all assigned reading lists and syllabuses, and will spend many hours a day on the Internet and in the library finding material to counter the propaganda being taught in the California schools. The actual time spent with the government institutionalized child in the evening will be far more than the average, successful, homeschooling mom spends in actual formal instruction each with her child.

If the parent of a California government school child is doing less than above, he is essentially allowing his child bake in the hot car of Liberal/Marxist propaganda.
