Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller finally figures it out.
Watch the Video
The TV show Penn and Teller, Bullsh*t and either be 100% wrong or 100% right. They had a funny show on Hybrid cars. They recruited two Lesbians to drive the car. The funny line was some like "Surprise, a couple of Lesbians on Showtime". LOMA
That may be a more accurate observation than Penn's take on his audience's reaction to the joke.
You are talking out of your hat.
Penn doesn’t even drink booze.
I’ve been on stage with them. They know exactly what they’re doing - and their bank accounts prove it.
And like I've said before, if Obama gets the nomination, McCain has no chance. Running an angry, old coot liberal against a younger, charismatic liberal is no contest at all...especially when they agree on every platform ranging from abortion to amnesty for the illegal invaders.
I seriously doubt Penn has any sort of drug problem.
That’s his usual nature and he strives to downplay his mannerisms under difference cicumstances, like the incredibly funny and true, “Bullsh!t” on Showtime.
He’s more right than wrong on so many things, but Obama will not be the next president.
The man not only doesn’t do drugs, he has never even had a drink in his entire life.
His behavior is what happens when you are winding down from a performance.
There is nothing cute nor heartwarming about McCain. He doesnt ooze sympathy nor charm. You are wrong. I dont laugh when I see mcCain.
Don’t forget the episode on recycling.
Very useful for putting some of the crazier eco-nuts (and more than a few casual ecologists) in their place.
The thing Penn doesn’t include in his prediction is that people actually have to show up and vote against her in order for Obama to beat her. The country thought Chris Daughtry was the best choice for American Idol, but they didn’t bother voting for him and he lost the show, even though all those people did buy his album after he had lost. Howard Dean was pretty popular in 2004, but his supporters found other things to do besides vote. Same with Ron Paul this year.
Also, there are a lot of people who are Hillary supporters who wouldn’t be at his performance. We already know for a fact that Hispanics hate blacks, and they are voting for Hillary over her like blacks in SC voted for Obama over Hillary. Poor whites probably wouldn’t be at his show, either, and Obama does poorly with that demographic.
I’m talking out of my experience with other addicts. Guy looks like he’s got a coke habit.
I don’t know the man.
Self-ping for later
Penn (and Teller) wrote the book (literally) How to Play with your Food I think that just might have something to do with it...
The show where they sent a producer to an environmental rally to gather signatures for a petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide was absolutely hilarious. Similar to the Man Show stunt where they went to a women’s rally with a petition to ban women’s suffrage and got a ton of signatures.
..why do hispans hate blks?
And Hillary is heartwarming? I think you missed the point. You can laugh at someone and still vote for them. Hillary and McCain are about as heartwarming as Malaria but many here laugh at Hillary, and at lease some, like me, laugh at McCain's Queegisms. I won't be voting for McCain though.
He is almost certainly wrong about BHO being elected. Between good old Clinton vindictiveness and the fact that HRC would not stand a chance getting the nomination in 2012 away from a sitting Democrat, McCain will get a powerful tail wind from the Clinton attack machine.
