I am sure there are protest ‘codes’ and that the pinkos are breaking every one of them. We need to find out what the codes are for protests and whether the Pinkos filed properly, etc. I have to run out soon, but will do what I can.
Called Berkeley’s City Manager for what little good it did. Also stated that I was phoning Sen. Demint’s office which I did to voice my support for the 2008 Semper Fi Bill. Also called Lugar’s office and they didn’t even know what Semper FI means.... Go figure. I’m disgusted. As the mom of a Navy Corpsman serving with the Marines, this hurts, not so much Berkeley but my own Senator’s office not knowning the meaning of Semper FI. I had to spell it for them and I don’t slur my speech....
Alas, taping of telephone conversations is illegal in California unless the other party agrees to it, and they must clearly say so at the beginning of the tape (that they know it’s being taped and they consent).

Personally I would like to see the Sheriff take charge - but this has got to be one of the hottest political hot potatoes being bounced around the State and County and everyone is willing to just let this play out unless there is bodily harm.

I’d like to know why the city of Berkeley is allowing Federal Law to be broken. The Code Pink and their clingers-on are making your city into even more of a laughing stock than it already was before this Marine recruiting office mess. The police are not doing their jobs — allowing the doors to be blocked and citizens to be assaulted.
It is as though they WANT there to be a riot so they can say, “See?! Look what the Marines caused” Let me tell you, Americans will not stand for this. The city and it’s council needs to stop playing their foolish games and concentrate on creating a safe, welcoming environment in the city of Berkeley. While they are pretending to be 99% more important than they are by issuing declarations having to do with NATIONAL matters, your city is being overrun by crime. While they cry “tolerance” your city is being overtaken by those who tolerate only the mindless repetition of their own ideals.
America is watching. Do the right thing, Berkeley. For once.
