Hey, she goes out, gets on stage stumping for her mother, then she should answer questions. Otherwise, it’s just Mom and Dad pimping her out.

Why? Treating her like a serious person simply increases the likelihood that she will become another liberal political icon.

Chelsea Clinton is a designated Little Girl and, as with other chosen spokesmen for the Democrat Party, is untouchable. Her political statements may not be criticized because she is a Little Girl and may be emotionally harmed by criticism.

Though I realize it is said ... "We get the government we deserve" ... I find it difficult to understand how we ever deserved the likes of the Clintons, not to mention the pukes that showed up for the Republikrat nominations.
Tell me this country isn't in need of a wakeup call.

How about Keith Olbermann and his talk of “pimping out” Gen. Petraeus(sp?)? Was that bad? Or it doesn’t matter?
Actually, I don’t know what the big deal is. When you say SOMEONE A is “pimping out” someone B, isn’t it REALLY a slam against Someone A?
So I don’t know why this isn’t fair game at all!

The recent outrage expressed by her candidate mother is nothing more than a disingenuous attempt to garner sympathy. This plays into the shallowness typical of the left. The real story is why did PMSNBC kowtow to the clintons and suspend Shuster????
That is the story not presently being examined in the msm. It is Stalinist and clearly demonstrates how manipulating and controlling the left is. Does anyone think had sides been reversed, PMSNBC would have suspended the commentator. After all, olberdope made similar comments with respect to Petraus and nothing has been made of it.
The daughter is out there on the campaign trail, engaged in activities, and therefore is subject to scrutiny....

“Pimping is a common enough euphemism in modern parlance.”
A euphemism is a term used to make something sound more benign. Webster: “the substitution of an agreeable or inoffensive expression for one that may offend or suggest something unpleasant.”
What does that say about campaigning for Hillary?

“Hillary doesn’t actually think Shuster was making an ugly reference her daughter’s sexuality; she’s just infantilizing Chelsea to maintain that she’s a child who can’t defend herself or take public scrutiny.”
Wrong, so wrong. Written by a man, obviously. Mrs. Clinton’s reaction was visceral, yes, but to say she was infantilizing Chelsea is ludicrous and self-serving. I wonder how the tone of this article would have turned if Chelsea were to have chastised Shuster herself? Think about it, and then believe that the course taken was the path of least resistance while still getting off the well deserved shot. “Pimped out”, while perhaps accepted jargon among the younger generation will never be words of choice for the more mature. Just because it is said on TV doesn’t begin to make it acceptable by the majority.

As far as I’m concerned, after her B.S. story in Talk Magazine about September 11th, Chelsea put herself in play.
After that the gloves were off.

I think of Chelsea as more of a “Human Shield” for the Clinton’s.
