Back in November there was a tourist from Michigan who drove up the the Visitor's Center on Mauna Kea. He was warned not to travel up any farther but did it anyway. Said he wanted to go hiking. It snowed and the temps dropped fast to below 20. Never heard from him again.
There's more to this story than the apparent facts.
