“No thanks, Huckabee is even further down my preference list than McCain. I may just write in Fred’s name in the primary.”

Dittos on that thought.

If you can’t vote McCain, dont vote McCain, but Huckster is even worse...

At some point, we should put a wrap on it and come together for the party ...

Do we want 4 years of Obama/Clinton/Carter type foreign policy at a time of war? Do we want Obama/Clinton/Carter type domestic policy at a time when the economy is shaky? Do we want their cultural leftism at a time when our culture is under attack?

“Huckabee, I came close to supporting him, and if we were running for some sort of religious organization, I would support him, but we’re not. He has compromised on so many conservative issues, I simply can’t be for him. Every time you turn around, he’s taking the wrong stand on a different issue.” ~~Paul Weyrich, when explaining his Romney endorsement

What a mess.

Look - Huckabee is at least a social conservative and an unafraid protector of the 2nd amendment. As for balancing budgets, he did that very well in AR.

What is this vitriol against Huckabee from some in the Republican party?
