Jeb for McCain (RINO ALERT)
National Review online ^ | 2/11/08 | Byron York

ARLINGTON, VA — U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has endorsed John McCain for president.

"John McCain is a patriot and devoted conservative leader," said Governor Bush. "Like no other candidate in the field, John McCain has made tremendous sacrifices for this nation. He is beholden to no interest other than that of the public good. He is determined and steadfast in his commitment to reducing the burden of high taxes, restoring the people's trust in their government, and winning the war against radical Islamic extremists. It is with pride that I announce my endorsement of John McCain for president."

so I don’t know how much that plays a role as much as he’s the brother of George,

Dobbs wife doesn't have anything to do with it, a friend of mine has a latino wife and I myself could have married several Spanish ladies I lived in Spain for a while. The difference is whether you follow the rules and do thing legally. The main thing to remember about the bush brothers is that they were raised by an illegal Mexican nanny. She lived with the bushes for years and became legal when he was president. You can google the info if you like.

I’m not voting for any conservatives in name only or liberals or democrats with an “R” after their name.

Jeb is hardly a RINO. He was as conservative, if not more, than Ronald Reagan.

Perhaps. But this shows that when you come right down to it, he's just another greasy little pol.

One does not have to go to war or be a politician to be a patriot. To stand up to the hijacking of the republican party - now THAT’S PATRIOTISM. We are defending the Constitution.

Uh... no.
While I voted for him 3 times and liked him quite a bit, - very much in fact - he did show more of the Bush family stance on many things in his last term.

His treatment of Harris and his endorsement of Martinez were the keys.
Of course he would endorse McCain. They are very similar.

That's right, FV. I won't bow down and lick the boots of traitors.

I would also greatly appreciate a good third party. The GOP may be too far gone.

Mclaim is embolding RINOs to come out of the woodwork and out themselves.. Party loyality is very negative group think.. The RINO Hive is reacting to Mclaims pheromones.. They cannot help themselves.. Although coded differently the party skinny is "resistence is futile, stand down and be assimilated"...

Even here at free republic denizens of the hive are present.. The republican Borg is present and flocking to their drama Queen.. Its amazing since McQueeg cannot win Bush as completly got many republicans attenion... The party has been penetrated by defacto democrats.. Hard to admit but true..

Bush may down in history as the most famous democrat MOLE..

In other news:

The Body of John Wayne Was Exhumed Today. A note found in one of his pockets read, “I support John McCain-2008”.

Cowboys across the nation ride their horses off cliffs.

Maybe the bible thumpers ARE right...The end truly IS near.

>Jeb is not a RINO. Know how I know? The press in Florida HATED him.

When these freaking rags here attack McCain in the general, will you then say that McCain is no RINO?

They are already starting.

Florida's a mess. Why isn't Jeb getting any blowback for the mess he left? And Charlie Crist isn't fixing it. He's galavanting all over with McCain. I mean ALL OVER. If the governor's mansion is fully staffed 24/7,that's the first budget cut I'd call for.

Governor Suntan is hardly ever in Tallahassee to fix what Jeb broke and maybe that's a good thing. Maybe Marco Rudio can run for Governor and put this state back together.

Bush is baby brother to W in every way.

I hope somebody has a list of Juan’s endorsements. Their names will live in infamy after Juan loses.

I had CNN on. McCain was at an event today and either it was private or nobody showed up. The room was empty (CNN pointed out as much).

Your interruption, mine is that they have been influenced beyond other people and have no perception of how fly over land feels.
