I listen to everything from Mitsuko Uchida - playing Mozart Sonatas to System of the Down. I also like Pharrell - his duet with Gwen Stefani: Can I have it Like That, Moby - like him, especially his duet with Gwen Stefani: Southside, Jay Z/Roc Boys: And The Winner Is, Techno: Anjuna Beats, Chemical Brothers: especially Block Rockin Beats. I like Country: Loretta Lynn, Toby Keith, etc. - Bluegrass: Ricky Skaggs. Continuing: Jazz/Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Blues: Billie Holiday and Mary J. Blige - these two women are by far better singers than the overated Carrie Underwood - what is the fascination with her?/Just Asking - seoul62.......
What a waste. :( I knew a few diabetics who blew off their dietary restrictions. One said that he would just as soon die if he couldn’t eat what he wanted to ... so he ate as he pleased until he died relatively young.
“I only watched the opening with two big fat girls prancing around in skimpy silver outfits...that was enough for me!”
Is that what that was? I thought it was a Cloverfield knockoff movie. LOL
Serioulsy who cares about a bunch of self absorbed clowns pat each other on the back.
I am hearing that barak HUSSEIN obama won a grammy?
Gimme a break.
Amy Winehouse is a dirtleg of the first rank. What constitutes her appeal will forever escape me. Kanye West (related to Cornell West? Both morons.) has all the musical ability of a toilet seat, and is less loathesome to be seen in public with. I applaud you for your fortitude. Watching the Grammies is roughly the eqivalent of being waterboarded with muratic acid.
Garbage simply garbage, music has fallen to an all time low. When you have todays young people listening to the music from the 60’s and 70’s this is telling you something.
No wonder we couldn’t find Detroit, “she at it”!
No! I finally got around to listening to Rehab and it was like nails on a chalkboard.
Why didn’t someone give that woman some Power Panties? As Dolly Parton once said - that looks like two pigs fighting in a blanket!
My 14 year old daughter asked to watch so of course I put it on.
20 minutes later I wondered if anyone was still interested.
It was one of those “oh, I thought YOU still wanted to watch” moments.
Whinehouse was absolutely horrible. Clearly an “emporer’s new clothes” type phenom.
Aretha was disappointing.
Foo Fighters I didn’t quite get.
And Kanye made me want to put my fist thru the tube. What a smart ass moron. He thinks he has some insight that people want to hear. Let’s check in on him in ten years. The young punks of the day will say “Kanye who?” when they hear about his overdose.
When you have Country, Gospel, Thrash metal, gutter slut divas, and orchestra on the same show, who is your audience?
I know...meth mouth?
The Grammys (aka Gimmies) are a celebration of cash flow for the industry, and have nothing to do with artistry.
Since the Summer of 67.
Maybe the Grammy's would have done better if they were starless too.
I was thinking of watching the Academy Awards- until they announced the grossly over-paid, pampered, elitist, arrogant, windbags- would be there congratulating themselves for being in movies that most of the public have not seen.
Forget it. I'd rather watch the Test Pattern.
I’ve never watched the grammys...and I don’t think I’ve seen a full quarter of ALL the pro-bowls COMBINED!
I’m a professional musician and I haven’t watched it in YEARS and YEARS. Biggest collection of no talents in town are always on the show. Can someone tell me what P Diddy actually does?
PS , like everything else the Grammys are ALL %100 politics . I know that for a fact !
Between what they call music nowadays, and the corporate crap stations, I haven't kept up with music in years, so I don't know her stuff.
