You were truely Blessed, given about a 5% survival rate.

I too was Blessed 13 years ago when I survived nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Took a tunor out below my brain and radiated 9 weeks. Lost 65 lbs. in 49 days.

Now I am entering my 5th week of radiation for throat/tongue cancer. Lost 32 lbs. so far. I need better diet and weight management programs than this! :)

Wow, moonman, you’ve been put through the proverbial wringer! Our prayers will be with you on this latest challenge — that is a tough weight management program you’ve got going. My “esophogastrectamy” altered my plumbing for life and my digestive system has been out of whack since my surgery, but considering the alternatives, I’ve really had it easy compared to others who face similar tumors and surgeries.

Hang in there, my friend. BTW, I like your screen name... I use a variant of it as my member name on YouTube based on an old nickname I had growing up.
