I have a hard time believing that a guy claiming to be the son of JFK and some uppity socialite mother would write so poorly, as this “Richard Crumpitt” did.

I doubt love had much to do with his conception. "Love child" just makes it easier not to use the b* word in the headline.
There was a lawsuit when the National Inquirer claimed to have found Teddy's illegitimate child a few years back.
P.S. Margaret Trudeau was fifteen when JFK died, so most likely she's not the mom.
