Good article by a Just Warrior: a Marine who does his job very conscientiously. I would be the proudest person on earth if my 18-year-old son Ben, who has just enlisted in the Marine Reserves, would mature into a man like this.
I stopped there too. Sounds like it might have been a good piece but I have a hard time reading something that has incorrect facts in the first couple sentances. Especially when it is something clearly written to have an emotional response. Even if it is a good response in this case.

Yeah, I don’t know, call me crazy, but if a guy dodges bullets for my freedom, I’m usually cool with letting a type (4 instead of a 6) slide when reading and listening to his views on an issue.
It is, after all, an editorial, not a definitive history. Typos happen. Hardly enough for me to not give a Marine an ear to listen to.
I’m assuming your misspelling of “sentences” was an attempt at ironic humor about typos hurting credibility, right?
