Texas will hold its primary on March 4, 2008. People do not register as members of political parties in Texas, so on March 4th, anybody who is registered to vote, can vote for Obama. See http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/primary.shtml. With McCain already the Republican nominee effectively, why not have those who lean Republican all vote for Obama to help destroy Hillary's candidacy?
Texas will send delegates to the Democrat convention. 126 of those will be chosen in the 31 separate primaries on March 4, 2007 divided by state Senate districts. See http://www.mydd.com/story/2008/2/8/17340/43669. Republicans can help Obama get many of these 126.
Another 67 delegates will be based on the results of caucuses. Those who lean Republican and voted for Obama may be able to attend the caucuses. But I am not sure.
As I see it, better to have Obama defeat her rather than risk her becoming President in a battle with McCain.

I think some folks are *actually* trying to get Obamaramadan elected and I ain’t jokin’, under the guise of “defeat Hillary”.I just found some videos of Obama activists talking shop to hostile interviewers. Obama will beat McCain. I have very little doubt. They’ll portray McCain same old stuff and boast about the “change” candidate.
I agree with you, however as the title of this thread suggests, this scenario is really making the rounds here in TX over the past 3 or 4 days. I’ve heard it mentioned on our talk radio here in Dallas. Many here feel they’d rather vote for Obama than help Hillary slime her way into the WH again. Many here that I’ve talked to would “rather cast a vote for Muhammad than Satan.”

Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam

FWIW: What Obama is or isn’t is no mystery. To understand how he can belong to a ‘church’ run by Jeremiah Wright, we need only look at the history of muhammad, who plagiarized the Original Testament of the Hebrews and The New Testament, and mixed within his ‘religion’ (cult) ancient arab lore, the basis of sharia - (there’s some of the Code of Hammurabi in there as well) and presto! Instant Power Base.
Jeremiah Wright studied religion with a focus on islam at University. He has been reported as being a muslim before he invented his ‘church’ ... I would hazzard a guess he may have been a member of ‘the nation of islam’.
Now, as we should all know by now, mohammad claimed that all the Old and New Testament prophets were muslim. Islam was first! The People of the Book have corrupted their text! How did mohammad reach this conclusion? It served his purpose, he set out originally to convert the Hebrews and Christins to islam. And when they rejected him, he wiped them out.
And islam has been wiping peoples out since the seventh century, following in the footsteps of mohammad. To call islam one of the three great religions is to give a pass to the greatest plagiarist, the most reprehensible and disgusting creature ever to draw breath. An arab. Descendant of tribal nomads that lived by plunder and the spread of death.
Jeremiah Wright is nothing but a modern incarnation of mohammad. He well knows the history of islam, he studied it. He is the leader of a cult - his cult also ‘accepts’ the Original Testament prophets, ‘accepts’ Jesus (as a prophet) and in that guise, is more islamic than even his stupid followers can ever imagine.
But the muslims worldwide know exactly what’s going on. Obama is not an apostate. Obama is simply following Jeremiah Wright’s islamic cult. He learned his lesson well from the life of mohammad. If you want to start a new ‘religion’ plagiarize all that which came before.
It’s simple. Hebrew and Christian prophets are muslim, Jesus was a prophet who also was muslim and allah is God.
So what’s not to like about Obama if you’re a muslim? 250 million Indonesian muslims can’t wait for Obama to become the President of the United States of America. And the Kenyan muslims think it’s a great idea. I’ve seen them on camera. They all want to come to America when their Luo Tribesman muslim ‘brother’ opens the door and lets them in!
I’m an Aussie. Vote for whomever you like. But do it with the knowledge of what it’s all about.

The massive Democratic turnout is mostly Obama voters. That’s why Hillary is losing 2:1 or worse in so many states. McCain can beat her, he can’t beat Obama.

I agree with your assesment, and hellary's negative rating is hurting her chances more every day. There are a lot of "moderates and independents" who will never vote for her, but would for B. Hussein O.
Policy wise you are rite, but I don’t believe Obama is evil like the Clintons. I think he is an honorable man doing his best for the USA as he see it, saying that I could never vote for him. But if he wins I won’t break down whimpering in a fetal curle. The same can’t be said about Hillary.
Personally I feel no connection what so ever to McCain, I know he will stab me in the back the first chance he gets.
