1) I don’t buy gorebull warming either. But mccain lieberman will also reduce our dependence on foreign oil. The arab countries and venezuela will have less control over the economy if the market shifts away from using oil. The market will find alternatives on its own without having the govt try to pick winners and losers (such as windmills) or regulations (such as higher CAFE standards)

2) deporting millions of hispanics will ensure that the GOP will be a permanent minority. It will also create a big police state. This is a problem that is harder than the war on drugs.

Americans want illegals deported.

The loss of a small pct of Hispano-Bigots who support illegal aliens over American citizens would be greatly surpassed by the number of Americans (on both sides of the political fence...and including many Hispanic Americans) who are tired of losing jobs and rights to illegals

McAmnesty is only attracting the same Hispano-Bigots that will end up voting for Hillary/Obama anyway.

That argument is completely false and I can't believe anyone except McCain and Geraldo Rivera is still using it. No one has proposed deporting illegal aliens en masse. Securing the border and enforcing the laws on the books, ie prosecute those who employ illegals, will dry up the jobs and the illegal aliens will deport themselves at their own expense. Many of them paid as much as $5,000 dollars to get here they can afford to go home.

Your straw man has been knocked down a thousand times here at FR. It's a lie.
