” . . . Edwards secured pledges from his rivals to make fighting poverty a priority.”
This girl is the biggest phony of all the phonies.

Of course this is all about deal making and Obama is up to the same thing. It could be the VP slot or for Edwards maybe AG..but yes if he backs one of them he won’t do it without a payoff...after all, keep in mind what kind of law he practiced.
To: Rosemont
No way.
Appoint him somewhere non essential perhaps but I think Obama regardless of his lib o bism is a sharper cookie then most think.
He is going to pick a winner for VP..Obama has groomed his whole life to be POTUS why else do you think he took so many potty breaks during Senate votes or his the “yellow” button on votes.

No! We need her to defeat McCain!
I'd rather vote for her than Obama.

argh edwards is an opportunist...he sees the race is close and hell give his delegates to the one who gives him the best deal... Yes, but he's not completely stupid. After all, what does it matter what the loser offers him? Edwards will make a very Machiavellian assessment regarding who has the better chance of winning in November, and base his support on that and nothing else.

That “Weasel” is considered to be a HERO to many on the left, and all of this back-room politics is blowing up a LOT of Liberal fantasies...

Clinton was two hours late to her first event last Thursday in Virginia, presumably things in the Tar Hill state tied her up. Isn't that supposed to be "Tar Heel State"?

If I understand the page right, Edwards has 26. It is possible that these few delegates can be critical at some future point.

26 still pledged to him according to CNN. I don’t see the Obama-Clinton race being that close at the end but I could be wrong.

The deals are being cut now, just as they're being cut on the Republican side as we type. This is what politicians of all parties do and have always done since the birth of the nation.
Except that when the Dems do it, it's politics as it's always been done with an eye to uniting their party for victory.....and when Republican conservatives do it with McCain, it's "treason", "selling out", "breaking the faith", "discarding principles", and other high crimes and misdeamors.
It kinda makes you want to laugh in spite of oneself.

And I believe he's already made his choice. Obama.
He met with Hillary first by design. Now he can tell Obama all about it.
He's droppin' a dime on Hillary.

26?? Heck, the story is probably a complete fantasy. Edwards’ endorsement is no prize, either. It’s too soon to be discussing running mates.
But if the Beast did go to Edwards’ place, maybe she was there to talk him out of endorsing Obama, which he is likely to do right after Obama cleans her clock Tuesday.

My thought exactly, How does someone with her enterage travel anywhere in stealth. They dont. Again when did the press know this?
