Huckabee Challenges Washington Caucus Results
FoxNews ^ | February 10, 2008 | Serafin Gomez

Mike Huckabee is challenging the results of the Washington state Republican caucuses, his campaign announced Sunday, after accusing the state party chairman of calling the election for John McCain before all the votes were counted.

The campaign will be pursuing a full investigation, including sending in lawyers to join those already on the scene in the state, officials told FOX News.

Reguardless of weather Huck can win out right, he could get enough to keep McCain from getting to 1191.

Ballot boxes recently have been stolen

A few years ago in California one was fished out of the bay

An official was caught with several in the trunk of his car.

Many people have been told they were not registered as a Republican and they have been for decades.

Someone changed their registration

They were given provisional ballots in some cases, after first being told they could not vote Republican

Do you know about a thing called motor voter?

Do you know that there are millions and millions of illegal criminal insurgent aliens in this country and that many of them vote?

Do you know that Clinton, a few days before the 2000 election, sent out 10’s of thousands of legitimate voter registration cards to illegals?

That they took to the polls and voted?

I could go on.

Cynical?

Yep, it’s been foisted upon me.

Voter fraud in all it’s incarnations will decide important votes. And has for quite a long time

President Kennedy is one example, “President” Gore was almost another.

Computers? Yea that solves it.

They have been screwing up right and left.

And do you think that they can not be manipulated?

Why does Huckabee want to challenge this vote? Huckabee was in the can for Rudy in Iowa and he was supposed to be running just to help McCain. Surely those from the camps, since retired, who said these things weren’t just pulling all this from their posteriors? I must admit to being a bit confused. Why would Perry call for Huckabee to drop out of the race? Surely Perry is in on the “Huckabee Hearts McCain Plan”? So Huckabee might be continuing his campaign to win the nomination? Will wonders never cease? :)

Fox has refused to call the race for McCain...there are about 2000 votes. The GOP powers that be are determined to make sure McCain is the nominee.

McCain called his delegates and had them change their votes. If there was any Tampering in WVA, it was done by McCain. I am beginning to believe Huckabee is serious about staying in the race.

The Huckster is nothing but Jimmy Carter in a GOP suit. Nonetheless, votes should be fully counted. Duh.

If the Duncan Hunter ping-list has devolved into a Huckabee ping-list, may I please have my name removed from the list. Romney may be deemed more untrustworthy than Huckabee by some, but not by me.

NO MORE BUSHES and NO MORE CON ARTISTS FROM HOPE,ARKANSAS.

Liberal RINO’s will do what they have to do in order to win just like any other political operators out there.

Stopping the count before it was finished and declaring McCain the winner was wrong, period.

It sounds like Huckabee is totally ignorant in how the Washington State Caucus works and he is making a big deal out of Nothing. No delegates have been awarded. This was just basically a tally of which way those who showed up at the caucus were leaning. The elected delegates by precinct will vote again at the district caucus in March which is were the delegates will be awarded. McCain and Huckabee have until then to sway the 12.3% uncommitted and the 16.7% who in protest voted for Mitt Romney. That’s 29% up for grabs not counting the 20.7 % Ron Paul people who will not be moved. By acting like a spoiled baby in contesting this count is not doing Huckabee any favors.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Still, even the FReepers who live in WA say the system is a mess...

A straight primary would be much better...

In every state...and all on the same day..

these caucuses only bring out a handful of people to decide for the whole state...

I agree, it is a mess, and the whole process is confusing even for us who have been doing this for a number of years. And too few people want to give up 3-hours of their Saturday to do this. I would prefer they do this by Primary vote. Even I who dog wasn’t in this hunt anymore (Fred), did not decide to go until 2 hours before the doors opened.

The real news to be gleaned here is that, in a two man race, their combined support didn’t top 50%.
