Clinton's campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, left the position today, to be replaced by Clinton's former top White House aide, Maggie Williams. The change formalizes a shift in the campaign's power structure that began to set in after Clinton's win in New Hampshire,
I've obtained a copy of Solis Doyle's email to the campaign's staff, sent about 15 minute ago:
Over a year ago Hillary launched her campaign for President.
Her announcement began a historic effort that has inspired millions and brought hundreds of thousands to their feet all across this nation.
I have been proud to manage this campaign, and prouder still to call Hillary my friend for more than sixteen years. I know that she will make a great President.
This has already been the longest Presidential campaign in the history of our nation, and one that has required enormous sacrifices from all of us and our families.
During the last month I have been working closely with my longtime friend, Maggie Williams.
This week Maggie will begin to assume the duties of campaign manager. I will serve as a senior adviser to Hillary and the campaign and travel with Hillary from time to time on the road. Maggie is a remarkable person and I am confident that she will do a fabulous job.
Although I will continue to see you all at headquarters, I would be remiss if I didnt thank each of you for your dedication, excellence, and passion over the last year.
You are the best campaign staff in the history of Presidential politics and I am grateful to each of you for your hard work and friendship.
The move doesn't have obvious consequences for the campaign's competing power centers. It's not the coup from Bill Clinton's advisors, the "white boys," that was rumored weeks ago but never came to pass. Williams, like Solis Doyle, is loyal first and foremost to Hillary, and has been very close to her for many years.
But Williams' influence has already been felt, I'm told, in the more ornate language in Clinton's speeches, and her presence adds a new dimension to the politics of Hillaryland.
This is the same Maggie Williams that illegaly carried boxes of “evidence” out of Vince Fosters in the moments after his body was found and before the police could seal his office to search for evidence as to his death.
She was then spirited out of the country and “unavailable” for questioning in regards to Fosters’ strange demise.
I wonder is she's as good as Donna Brazille /sarcasm
Very cute, but the victim of a stalinist purge! Hillary is breaking a few eggs to make omlettes.
If a Republican candidate had made such an obvious move....(fill in the blank).

Hillary is so racist the THINKS she needs a black woman to attack Obama.

Hillary’s announcement for president brought hundreds of thousands to their feet from across this nation..............
.......all headed for the bowl to heave........
Maggie the Matchmaker. How sweet!!
It would seem so. But IMO she is giving up on the Black vote an will now court Hispanics aggressively. She needs Texas badly. Look to her to begin using a Spanish accent. Probably, a few long lost Mexican relatives will turn up as well.
Wow - out goes the Hispanic and in comes the black...
For a party bent on “change” there is SOOOO much of the same old crew on board the SS Clinton. They’re “sinking” to a new level now that Hillary is not the ‘inevitable candidate’ and just like the Titanic, no one has yet realized that this ship is going DOWN!
Where did Huma, Hillary’s girlfriend, go? Haven’t seen her in a picture with Hillary in weeks.
ADIÓS: HILLARY CANS TOP LATINA...
Per Drudge
My first thought exactly. Desperate for the black vote. But she AINT’T GONNA GET IT!!
Well the Democrats are all screaming about the New Orleans Blacks that are still in Texas, LOL!
Hmm...wikipedia has her listed as an anchor baby.
If that were the case why would she get rid of a Hispanic to recruit a black? I think she has sensed enough support among Hispanics to take their vote for granted, and now trying to mend relations with the blacks.
