BBC24 sometimes carries ABC news but recently they have got their own program broadcasting from the States which IMHO is better than the ABC version.

It's even worse here in WA state: we have BOTH a primary AND caucuses! The Democrats have decided to ignore the primary and only use the caucus results (helps Obama and hurts Hillary), and the Republicans (in all of their usual glorious stupidity) have decided to do 51% from the primary and 49% from the caucuses (or vice-verse). How many Dem voters do you think are going to vote in the Republican primary?

Add to that my experience at my caucus yesterday where discussion and debate about the candidates wasn't allowed and you have a VERY rigged system. When we entered the room, we wrote down who we were for (I think this is what is being reported as the WA state caucus "results") and then the time was spent signing up volunteers to go to the county and then state conventions. They stated who they were for, but there was no talking them out of it or convincing them to be for someone else to better represent our precinct. It was a complete waste of time and I'll never participate again.

Every state in the union has a web site listing how to contact the Republican Party in its state. We need to hammer them on this issue.

Add mustard. It’s the best. Wouldn’t eat PS w/o mustard.

What the recipe, actually it is very simple to make.

I do make the sponge at the bottom but a bought plain sponge cake would do. Soak in sherry, make up a couple of pints of jelly (jello) with tinned or fresh fruit in it. When nearly set pour over the sponge. Add topping which can be anything from made from scratch egg custard (pouring type not baked type) or bought custard such as Bird’s or Ambrossia. Alternative an instant whip type pudding which you just add milk to and whisk which is dad’s favourite and I used that on this trifle. I used bananna flavour which again is dad’s favourite. Then I topped it with fresh raspberries.

If you want to be for a special ocassion you can also put a layer of whipped double (heavy) cream on top and then decorate with fresh or glace fruit of your choice. If you cannot get suitable fresh fruit glace cherries make a good topping.

Similar to mayonnaise but not as thick and IMHO as rich and sickly as the mayonnaise I have tasted.

Conservatives must go and vote. We will have to do all we can to make sure conservatives (if you can find one) get elected. Do what you wish with the President part.
