So what’s up with this brokered convention scenario, any idea?

Because Huck might not be able to win that 1100+ delegate count required to clinch the nomination, but it is certainly in the possibility that he could prevent McCain from getting it. Am I right?

So up to the convention, say McCain gets maybe 900+ delegates. What then?

They go behind closed doors? Smoke filled rooms?

If so, McCain will get it, eh? Cause the Repub elites WANT this man never mind what we think.

Don’t really know if it is mathematically possible at this point although, from McCain’s truly miserable performance tonight, I suppose it is not out of the realm of possibility yet - But very unlikely IMO.

What is really interesting is what happened tonight on the Dem side AND the barn burner of a speech Obama gave at the Jeff/Jackson Dinner. It was rousing and, I think, enough to maybe wake up some of these brain-dead ‘Elites’ to the very evident fact that McCain is most definitely not the person to meet either of these two in the General. To boot, even discounting the Presidential race, I am certain that he will pull down so many others on his lousy coattails.

This is a mess and, frankly, given my absolute LOATHING of the Clintons, I will have to be content if they are simply kept out of the White House. I would like to be able wish for more but I can’t ignore the reality of a McCain candidacy so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the Clinton’s are stopped by Obama.

McCain gets skunked if we are lucky.

McCain has already shown utter contempt for evangelicals and conservatives. (Everyone in the convention is either one or the other, and cant stand McCain.)

With luck, his delegates abandon him, go for a split with Romney and Huck. Then have a straight up or down vote right there. An end to the McCain nightmare.
