Don’t really know if it is mathematically possible at this point although, from McCain’s truly miserable performance tonight, I suppose it is not out of the realm of possibility yet - But very unlikely IMO.

What is really interesting is what happened tonight on the Dem side AND the barn burner of a speech Obama gave at the Jeff/Jackson Dinner. It was rousing and, I think, enough to maybe wake up some of these brain-dead ‘Elites’ to the very evident fact that McCain is most definitely not the person to meet either of these two in the General. To boot, even discounting the Presidential race, I am certain that he will pull down so many others on his lousy coattails.

This is a mess and, frankly, given my absolute LOATHING of the Clintons, I will have to be content if they are simply kept out of the White House. I would like to be able wish for more but I can’t ignore the reality of a McCain candidacy so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the Clinton’s are stopped by Obama.

I agree. The one sure positive is if the Clinton machine is taken down. It truly would be eliminating a medussa of an organisation. the Clintons will never be gone (until their gone, if you know what I mean) but if Hillary and her SINO (Spouse In Name Only) are cut off from the main prize it will be a collective sigh of relief for many of us on the right, but just as many on the left. It's like when the big old mean boss is pushed out and everyone can let out all the repressed anger thay were too afraid to express before.
