Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance.

If conservatives rally behind Ron Paul in Texas, I think he could have a better chance than Huckabee could. Not a great shot of taking the winner-take-all there, but if Ron Paul could pull it off (and he's from Texas) that would expose a pretty big chink in McCain's armor.

I really like Dr Paul on many issues. If he had his foreign policy and national defense issues straightened out I think he could have won this thing. Who doesn’t want to follow the Constitution? Who doesn’t admire a straight shooter?

I disagree- I believe that there are many more evangelicals in TX than Paulista libertarians. I'm now a Huckster convert to smite McCain.
