So if someone other then McCain wins 558 of remaining delegates the party wins? This can be done roughly with ten states I think. Texas, Nebraska, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, Indiana. N. Carolina, Idaho, Wisconsin, New Mexico. Or many other combinations. So the other than McCain vote need only carry 10 of the remaining 25 states. Maybe I’m mistaken, but looks like it is not out of the question.

It is definitely possible to stop McCain from an outright win. Maybe that’s an issue we can all unite around.
