Isn't Ron Paul the most conservative in this race?

Why are true conservatives on this forum not voting for him?

1. Because he has a “blame America first” mentality.
2. Because his so called foreign policy is disastrous.
3. Because he has accomplished nothing in 20+ years in office, and owes us a refund.
4. Because he has only published ONE policy position paper so far.
5. Because he sounds like PeeWee Herman on crack.

Well, I actually like ‘some’ of his ideas, but the rest of his nutcase stuff..... drops him from being a rational consideration. ;>)

Besides, how could anyone later admit to having voted for him?

It would be as if someone had found an old photo of you wearing a pair of bellbottoms back in the 60’s. ;>)

Because after you listen to him for more then 20 seconds you realize he is actually a nutjob. Conservative yes, but still a nutjob.

Because he wants to get the troops out of Iraq now. He was against invading them before we did. He says Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11.
FR used to love him until he spoke against the invasion of Iraq.

Then, it was decided he is a kook, and a coward. Nevermind that he was in the Airforce for 5 years.

It sure is easy talking about how brave President Bush and VP Cheney are for not "cutting and running" from Iraq. They are not over there being shot. But Paul is a coward because he doesn't believe we should have our troops over there being shot for no reason that we can see.

We found and killed Hussein, we should have left then.
But we had no reason to kill him to start with. He was a bad man, but there are a lot of bad men.
