Ann Coulter wasn't invited to CPAC this year but she came to CPAC anyway and gave a speech just down the hallway from the ballroom where John McCain spoke Thursday. The speech was only open to 1000 attendees but you can watch it here on Townhall.com. I guess we'll name this speech, "Ann Coulter's 2008 not-at-CPAC-CPAC speech."

A record is a good thing to look at making Hillary a better choice with her and Bills record on amnesty and defense, McCain 2008 for sure!

If McCain had as good a sense of humor as Annie (or Bob Dole), he would call for a write in poll at the Convention of all the delegates....then have an hour or two after the count discussing the relative merits of the write-ins. After that the air would be cleared and he could be seen off to campaign against the Dems with some Party Unity.
and I, like you would probably write in Cheney/Bolton or Coulter/Bolton!
Considering that she has the qualifications right now, she inspired her husband to be the man he is, and she is still a stone fox, all you need is her acceptance.

I can respect McCain for being a fellow Viet Nam veteran.
But as has been pointed out, he has entirely too many “liberal skeletons” in his closet.
That said, between him & a ‘Rat, I will hold my nose...again...and vote for him.

That’s true, and, to a point, I can certainly appreciate that, and have enjoyed her columns over the years. But, at some point, I think it goes over the top and it gets to be hard to separate the signal from the noise. For me, I think she is reaching that point.

He should be allowed to go peacefully into well deserved retirement and spend however much time he has left enjoying life and hunting hunting with liberal Democrat senators, congressmen and politicians out in rural areas.

I haven’t been proud to support much less vote for a Republican for POTUS since RR!
The GOP showed us in 1996 that they weren’t ready for prime time and being the Majority in Congress and what we need now is to elect true blue conservatives to governorships so that eight to 12 years from now we have a field to choose from!
In the mean time, the Gelding Old Party needs to get a testicles & spine implant!
