Ann Coulter wasn't invited to CPAC this year but she came to CPAC anyway and gave a speech just down the hallway from the ballroom where John McCain spoke Thursday. The speech was only open to 1000 attendees but you can watch it here on Townhall.com. I guess we'll name this speech, "Ann Coulter's 2008 not-at-CPAC-CPAC speech."

why do you feel compelled to call her a skank ? Did she remind you of your mother ? No, though I am different in temperment, my mother is a Christian and tries to speak of those she dislikes in charitable terms...perhaps you're thinking that Ann reminds you of your mother?

Her vitriol is exceeded only by the epithets she constantly uses...she’s the right-wing equivalent of Rosie O’Donnell and does our party little in attracting new converts!

I guess I never watch her for extended periods, but I thought, absent the contrived humor, that she laid out the most comprehensive demolishment of any shred of hope that McCain is anything other than a liberal that I can imagine. Since 1998, only Chaffee, Snowe, Collins and Specter more liberal as Republicans???

Better the bleached nearly 50-year-old skank’s wisdom than the idiotic rambling of an ignorant 18-year-old such as yourself.

Love Ann, but this is the best one I ever watched.
Got my biggest kick out of her remark to the McCain supporter-- "If John McCain really does all that, then I'll accept your marriage proposal."

I noticed that as well. Her observations on McCain, Guilani and Romney were also spot on:
McCain is representing the conservative state of Arizona; he's as good as he'll ever get. Guilani was mayor of the NYC Politburo and Romney the governor of Taxachussets; their records are as bad as they'll ever get.

she’s a good thinker, too bad that you need that crust of nasty humor that alienates to get any publicity. That said, I don’t blame her for using it.

I’d venture to bet that you received a lot of parental charity as a child! I am certain that being a fine Christian Lady, she continues with that family tradition today.

They showed this on CSPAN last night. I only got to see the Q&A session. It was funny when she told one questioner that if McCain governed as a conservative she would marry the questioner.

****Some guy (Same guy who asked her to marry him at some previous speech she gave) got up to ask a question and said If McCain doesnt raise taxes, doesnt let all the immigrants in and doesnt appoint liberal judges, will you vote for him in 2012?....She said Well sure. But its not going to happen. Hey, I could win a billion dollars in the lottery, but it aint going to happen. Tell you what, if he does those things, Ill marry YOU!****
That was funny.

I understand why Cheney doesn't want to run for the office of the President, but I sure wish he would right now!
