Thanks. You’re right.
IMO, McCain is the nominee this year becaue we had a RINO in there for the last four years, and conservatism just wasn’t pushed from the top.
The Republican party acts as if conservatism is a dirty four letter word. They’re running from it as fast as they can.
If that’s their mindset so be it, but don’t blame me because we continually move further left on the scale every four years.
Rush, what will four years of McCain buy conservatism? I’ll tell you what it will buy. Every time someone takes McCain to task, he will be defended at length by the party leaders. The conservatives that are taking him to task will be caste as trouble-makes and malcontents. And when McCain governs from the left on issue after issue, the conservatives will be under a continual rais of criticism.
Is this your idea of growing the conservative brand?
There won’t be one ounce of conservatism left when McCain is done with his first term.
IMO, if you take McCain to task over the next four years, McCain will support the introduction of the fairness doctrine again and you will be out of a job.
That’s generally the thanks liberals give those who come to their assistance inappropriately.
