McCain’s Ten step process to restoring conservative confidence in him:

Step 1.) Reassure us on core conservative convictions - Check (CPAC speech).

Step 2.) School the Democrats in their hyper-liberal partisan ways - Check (Obama letter).

Step 3.) Embrace a conservative reform agenda (still waiting)
....

etc. -— a good start, but a ways to go.

You think because McCain reaches across the aisle he pulls left.

There was no pull to it when he ask kerry to make his vp.

“Funny, sarcastic, mavericky. But not presidential.”

Are you talking about what OBAMA did or McCain?

LOL.

These are the kinds of things I like about McCain. He’s punchy, I’ll give him that.

Either post proof of that claim or withdraw it. It does our side no good to make stuff up. It makes us look stupid in the end when it's shown to be false.

I think it shows what an a-hole he is. Smug, and sneaky. As for sending Obama to his room, what a joke.

McCain is in BIG TROUBLE if private assurances that he made start getting published on him. The only reason that he is not a officially a Democrat today is not principle, not loyalty, not assurances, but the fact that Jeffords trumped him by defecting first.

you keep repeating rumors that are wrong. Kerry campaign went to Mccains campaign ., when Mccain was confronted he said NO!

RIGHT! I have seen a lot of freepers in here repost rumors , and that isnt what I heard about freepers. I was told they check their facts before they make their accusations. I havent seen much of that , all i see are repetitive rumors

the fact that is it 2 years ago makes it that much more powerful. It shows that BO is not interested in bipartisanship in the least.

Its human nature to try and work things out with your antagonists and just as Human to take for granted your allies. McCain needs to learn that the left will never be persuaded, and why would they? Government entitlements are as good as votes in your pocket.

that is what it shows to me too. the possibility of him being elected is well scary. Especially in these times , He doesnt have much of a record , and what he does have is not at all conservative he is farther left then hillary is. that is why code pink and michael moore support him. I dont want an american idol candidate for president. I want a President who understands and first hand info on what is going on globally.

Whatever "Tina". Been here a whole three months and trashing Freepers, and accusing a nine-year member of being a lib or Obama supporter. I'd say you're the untrustworthy one.

You show up here 3 months ago and now you are throwing insults at longtime members? If anyone here is a plant or wearing a disguise it is likely you. I bet dollars to donuts that this screen name of yours is not your first.
