I wouldn’t exactly call it irrelevant. Had she been legally parked off the driving lane, it appears the accident wouldn’t have happened as it did. Doesn’t excuse the driver by any means but double-parking is risky and people should avoid it if at all possible, especially after dark.

I hope you understand why some may question your comments ,, it’s kind of like someone who walks under a piano being hoisted in the air on a pulley , loiters and then gets squashed as a result when someone sneezes and loses their grip on the rope unintentionally.. admittedly maybe not the best comparison..

I’m all for traffic safety... but.. this sounds like a residential area to start with, not sure from the article.
