“This guy needs a Commander in Chief to fight the terrorists. We are in a War, and this guy is fighting for us, we need to watch his back.”

You mean the way he treated Don Rumsfeld?

Oh Im not denying McCain that is a RINO jerk. I would much rather have a conservative, but that isnt an option. Im saying either the Democrat or Republican nominee will be the next Commander in Chief next year, and in an active war, we need him over the Democrat pick as that CIC. We could have bombings on our streets that jeopardize our families if the GWOT isn't handled right. It is very very serious. McCain doesn't have many redeeming qualities, Pro Life and Iraq are just about it. Our troops need better, but he is the best we got to choose from.

Id rather have Tom Tancredo, Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson or Mitt Romney, but they dropped leaving McCain to get picked.

Sorry we disagree on this Checkers, I have always enjoyed your posts.

Abd let us not forget the respect McCain showed for those Swift boat veterans, how he came out and cast aspersions on those war veterans in favor of his buddy, John Kerry.

Who he was considering running with by the way...such a loyal guy...watching his back should one of our top priorities, of course!.

Rumsfeld was a nice guy, but he was going the wrong direction..The surge is working, just ask Nancy Pelosi...Getting Rumsfeld out was worth getting the rats to admit that the war is not lost.

It isn’t the time to be bitter.

It is the time to think about how to salvage what we can, for the sake of our country and its future generations and for the sake of our fighting men and women.

Start looking at Congressional and Senate races that you may be able to help. Start thinking about how to educate voters in your area to the real issues, leaving Presidential choices out of it.

I can flippantly and angrily say I’m not voting for the SOB; but I am in California, and no way our electoral votes are going for a Republican no matter how I vote or don’t vote.

But I urge those in formerly red states and purple states to think long and hard before aiding and abetting the coronation of the Commie or the Anti-Christ.
