Gitmo and interrogation are two very BIG war related issues, my friend.

And you were one of those smart people who voted for Bush in 1992 to reward him for boldly lying about his no new taxes pledge?

“You forgot reason number 3
Three thousand innocent Americans. Our young men and women have paid a price for them. I don’t want to see it wasted.
For them I can hold my nose and pull the lever.”

It hasn’t been wasted. They achieved every military objective asked of them. The Sadam regime was toppled. Iraq is not a military threat to us. It is no more of a terroristic threat to us than Iran, Syria, Saudi, or any other radical Islamic nation. Our troops come home with honor because they achieved their mission and people using them for political reasons make me sick!

He has always been a huge support to the fighting troops.

Not the POWs and MIAs he insists we not look for in Viet Nam.

Yes. Yes I did.

Thanks for Waco, Aristide, bans on constitutionally-protected firearms ownership, Islamic footprints in Eastern Europe, needlessly-antagonistic relations with a freshly post-cold war Russia, inattention to int'l terrorism, oh and that little 9/11 "incident." Thanks a f@#ing lot for teaching GHWB a lesson. Hope you're happy with those results!

I'm sure you will enjoy your nationalized health care system and a pullout from Iraq and 'Stan. I bet you'll gladly fork over an increasing percentage of your income to fund abortions here and abroad.

Cheers!

Some food for thought, which may not make me popular but might serve to focus on the attitude which cuts our noses to spite our face.

I am NOT, repeat NOT a McCain supporter but to refuse to vote for a REPUBLICAN of any shade and thus help get Hitlery or is it Billery into the White House is a mindboggling mind set.

Fanatically similar, except for the subject matter with that of a Jihadist’s determination to get their point of view and control over us - even by killing us. Or even killing themselves!!

What’s the difference in getting Hitlery and her Al Qaeda girl Friday Huma Abedin into the White House (by not voting or voting against McCain on face spiting nose cutting conservative “principles”) and the unthinking Jihadi imposing his weird religious mind set on us?

We lost the Congress and Senate last time round because so many decided not to vote because they were disgruntled!!! This includes some of my closer friends.

Or by NOT voting for a REPUBLICAN, even someone like McCain, a RINO in many aspects, to perhaps help Obama as a result, a Moslem till age 16, to control our fate vis-a-vis Iran and the Islamic world and terrorism.

Are we also so fanatical in our conservative “ideals” that we are ready to scuttle the ship or burn the barn to get/hurt McCain?

It’s our ship, our barn, our survival, even in a less than pefect format.

Are we so hard headed that we are ready to shoot ourselves in the foot to make a point? A point that will make our lives MUCH worse than McCain, or any RINO - except pehaps Ron Paul - could or would ever do - COMPARED to any of the Democrats!

Do we not realize that our fissy huff only serves to help the “opposition DimRats”?

We sound like those Christians who refuse to accept medical help in the name of their religion and watch their children, wives, husbands or parents DIE because they believe so strongly in God that they will not help save them!

I respect their strength of belief but cannot recommend we all adopt it as our way of life. Not if we want our families to have good health. So why do conservative Republicans try to insist on the same thing. Except, again, in the context?

Where is that different to the fanaticism of the Islamic Jihadists? Other than in context? Where is refusing to vote Republican and retain the White House, even with a RINO, WORSE than having Billery or Obama take it over???

For God’s sake people, please don’t do with the election what the West is doing with Islam - ignoring the alternative of what we face by appeasing our INNER desires and PROUDLY and senselessly losing the war.

Until McCAin became the apparent candidate for Republicans, this debate and stance causes no great harm. But NOW is the time to rally around the designated Republican - RINO or otherwise and fight the DimRAts instead of continuing to splinter the Republican party, on which the SAFETY of our NATION depends.

Certainly compared to the even BEST the DimRats have to offer.

Wake up Republicans!

Yes, I shall make the case for McCain, and why conservatives should rally to him.

He wants amnesty for illegal aliens. He knows, as do all right-thinking people, that those law-breakers who never bothered to go through the legal method of obtaining citizenship, will decide to follow the NEW rules of obtaining citizenship now that they're here. And of course, all those millions of illegals here are here to stay because it is literally impossible, in this world we live in, to deport them. There was no such thing as Operation Wetback. It never happened.

He would be most likely, among all candidates, to order invasion or attack of Iran, and hopefully, any other nation that exists on this earth that has the potential, currently or in the future, of harming the U.S. And he could do the most to ensure that we permanently station our troops in all of these places. McCain gives the U.S. the best chance of keeping up the war - well, war in the euphemistic sense, because Congress hasn't declared war. But that's a good thing, because as long as it's an R in the White House, the Constitution is optional.

Free speech. It's better that we have McCain-Feingold, and hopefully, more of the same in more restrictive legislation. McCain gives us the best chance of more legislation like that.

McCain derides and detests conservatives. This is one of his better qualities, further making the case for his candidacy. Without conservatives mucking up the social debate, embryonic stem cell research is full steam ahead.

So there's a few reasons to support him. =)

Don’t worry, if that is your concern, McCain will throw away the book on civil liberties and be willing to torture without limit. His claim to oppose torture is just a ploy to win MSM support.. Please note that it was McCain who gave Bush a blank check to toss the Bill of Rights in the garbage (and thus allow unlimited torture) by refusing to oppose the Military Commission Act.

I’m signing off for tonight...I’ve a busy day tomorrow.

I implore all of us to keep our emotions in check, to remember politics is not personal, and like it or not John McCain is our last best hope of defeating Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Good night, all.

“I will vote for him for one reason and one reason ONLY, he will keep FIGHTING the war the terrorist declared on us!!!!!”

NO. HE. WON’T.

He will do what he has ALWAYS done, that is make deals with Democrats and appease THEM. That is his RECORD. That is REALITY.

Seems like a lot of pretend conservatives are looking for a way out by hanging their votes on a VP pick. Yah that’s the ticket, pick a Conservative to attend funerals while Mc gets amnesty for millions.

C’mon people, how long are we willing to let the RNC screw us with lib candidates?

We will lose this election big time, dark days will follow and then we can blame it on the “D”’s.

I knew him too. In fact, I am his psychologist, and I can tell you all he has every mental disorder in the book. A grade-A nutjob who hates everybody except liberals and will nuke your house if you cross him.

You can trust me on this because I’m from the internet.

McCain is just as much an incompetent as Hillary and Obama on the war.

Don't be stupid, you moron. Yours is the argument of the liberal troll.

McCain has left the American people to the clemency of illegal alien criminals by supporting amnesty and open borders.

"...left American people to the clemency of illegal aliens..." Go back and discuss grammar and definitions with your liberal high school English teacher.

McCain is just as much an incompetent as Hillary and Obama on the war. McCain wants to get rid of Gitmo, he wants to treat the sandgoblins like they are criminals instead of enemy combatants. I wonder how that soldier in your picture would feel if he knew that McCain has left the American people to the clemency of illegal alien criminals by supporting amnesty and open borders.

Different issues. Apples and bowling balls.

McCain is wrong in Immigration. He has always supported the war.

McCain is wrong on Gitmo. He has always supported the war.

But lets do this your way. Since Hillary, Obama or McCain will be the next President, and you dont want MCain, do you prefer Hillary or Obama to be Commander in Chief?

Those are the only three choices, one of them will be it. So who is your better choice, Obama or Hillary?

The MSM started in right after McInsanes “I’ll be a good boy now because I need you until after you vote for me speech”.

They have stated that he lies, and he is old and crazy. Can’t disagree, though. LOL
