If Obama keeps his momentum, as seems likely, we're in for a stalemate. Billary will never agree to simply walk away without a bloody fight. So the Super-delegates will have to gang up on Bill-Hillary and run them out of the party. They would like to do that, but do they have the courage?
This is the true impact of Ted Kennedy's endorsement of Obama. It gives the "Supers" the cover they need to stand by Obama if he starts racking up more delegates and more votes than her. But, knowing the Clintoons, they will never go away without the bloodiest, ugliest, dirtiest fight imaginable on the Convention floor.
If Hillary runs against McCain and loses, she and Bill still run the Party. If she is passed over before or during the convention, she and Bill are has-beens.
It will be a strictly Black affair
Good point there.
Oh man, its the Perfect Storm! And it is looking likely. There is no way Clinton will give up. And Obama is actually ahead at this point, so he won’t give up either.
No hanging chads.
No voting machine irregularities.
No republicans.
Just the Clintons and their powerful political machine, manipulating the election, right in front of the very sheeple who have supported them for years.
And make no mistake about it...the Clinton machine WILL prevail. We can then all shout, with pure glee, “Clinton was selected, not elected!!” “Disenfranchised minority voters!” “Stolen nomination!”
In addition to being a glorious “in-your-face” opportunity, it will open the eyes of many democrat voters.
LOL, so it’s all your fault!
