Got a link? The only button I see for CPAC on cspan.org tries to bring up real player. CSPAN 1, 2, 3, and radio have media player links but not cspan.org

McCain: No Reagan Video at CPAC [Byron York]

From the McCain campaign:

Good morning everyone. There are rumors circulating that our campaign will play a video featuring President Ronald Reagan introducing John McCain prior to his address at CPAC today. These rumors are inaccurate. Our campaign has never had any plans to produce or show any such video.

Go to cspan.org and click on the red watch button.
On the next page (in the 3rd column over) under the heading of “C-span super tuesday primaries coverage” you can select real player or windows media player. When you select Windows Media it starts playing the live c-span feed (not the old primary coverage like the heading says).

I hope McQueeg’s inevitable Howard Dean Moment happens at CPAC, with all the media there, and in time to self-destruct before locking up the nomination.

If McCain’s speech starts at three, does a third party start at 3:10?

No advice :(

If I figure it out I’ll post.

Maybe if we all sent an email to cspan begging for Windows availability for cspan.org? LOL:)

Our campaign has never had any plans to produce or show any such video.

To add: If we did, we sure aren't going to show it now.

McCain is there to try the Jedi mind trick on the room. Make everyone think he's conservative. He must think they're Democrats.

Latest updates from Michelle Malkin:

Update 10:23am Eastern. David Keene has opened the conference. He recounts how Ronald Reagan attended 17 CPAC events. When aides asked why he insisted on attending, Keene says, Reagan explained that he “wanted to dance with the ones that brung him.” Keene jokes that all of the Democrat presidential candidates were invited, but none accepted. He also remarks that “even liberals” have attended and been treated with civility….which segues into a request that those with whom the attendees disagree be treated with courtesy.

Keene also notes that President Bush is headed to the tornado disaster zone tomorrow, but will keep his commitment to speak here. Speech rescheduled for 7:15am tomorrow.

The first session is on Reagan. Bob Novak, Carl Cannon, and Lou Cannon are the panelists. The Cannons just wrote a book about whether Reagan would have supported the Iraq war. They argue no.

10:34am Eastern. The Reagan panel has been cut short because Cheney is here early.

I tried that earlier- that’s the Cspan REGULAR coverage- we need Cspan.org coverage- it’s not the same.

There’s coverage for Cspan, Cspan2 & 3...with Windows...but NOT for Cspan.org.

Let’s send them emails- I just did:
