“Fox News has done a really stupid thing and pissed off a large number of Conservatives this past year.”

Unfortunately, that’s all you get from Dobbs. He is a populist to a fault.

I watched the show she was one. I know she is 62 years old, but my gosh - she is just stunning (yes, I know she is a liberal).

Hey, Opus thinks she is hot too.

I wasn't PO'd at Fox, just disappointed their coverage was so horrible. I've got to give props where they are due and CNN just had a MUCH better broadcast. I'd rather watch paint dry than Fox election coverage.

You can call him a populist, but I suspect that he is a very liberal Democrat. That said his show is speaking to a lot of Democrats and keeps the illegal immigration issue alive among Democrats since it is not being discussed much by ANY liberals, whether it be the MSM or the Democrat Party. I think the illegal immigration issue is too big for the bailiwick of one party, and Dobbs is doing the country a service by keeping in front of otherwise liberal Democrats night after night.

I dumped FNC a year ago.. don’t miss them at all. (at least I know why CNN has their heads up their arses, fnc held so much promise but frittered it away with analysis that was woefully weak to say the least)

She plays a liberal on television, it is required. She may not be as liberal as you think. She worked for Richard Nixon. Her husband is Mike Nichols the film director. He was Russian and I am certain, he is very much an anti-communuist. He made Charlie Wilson’s War which was a very very entertaining film considering the subject matter. It got criticized for not giving the Reagan administration enough credit. But what was he to do, the film was made with Hollywood money, the money would not let him give Reagan any credit.

Laurie Dhue

More Laurie Dhue and less lecturing Conservatives would help Fox News.

Dobbs may be a one-trick pony on the illegal immigration fight he has taken up, but at least he is out there addressing it.

Fox has become a branch of the Mexican government with its one-sided support of illegal immigration. All of their “analysts” are in the open broders camp - Kristol, Barnes, Kondrake, Rivera, etc., and most of their “guests” are of like sentiment - including that slick-haired guapo just hired by McCain, Juan Hernandez.

Except for cutting their grass and washing their clothes, these eltists grown rich by BS-ing on the tube wouldn’t let an illegal get anywhere near them, their kids, or their gated communities.

Fair and balanced? Right!

Honestly I would have to say that as far as their election night coverage goes plus the geust they had on that CNN does a better job than FNC. I preferred watching CNN in 2006 on election night. That being said I love Meghan Kelly.

When I hear Rove was going to be on FoxNews, I abandoned the idea to watch. I do not share other people’s admiration for that guy.

Someone posted on a thread announcing Rove’s hiring that they were surprised the FNC hired Rove. I responded that I was not surprised, and that Fox News had a litmus test it applied to talking heads they trotted out and presented as conservative, and that litmus test was pro-amnesty “conservatives”. I would be surprised if Fox hired a conservative that used the word illegal before immigration.

I agree that she is a very fresh face who is very sharp. But alas, she is on a network that has become full of very tired faces that are extremely dull.

I gave up on Fox because it’s turned into the amateur hour. It’s not so much their politics that bugs me it’s their turn towards becoming the News of the Weird. I used to put it on while I was getting ready for work. One morning, during the twenty minutes it was on while I was getting ready, they had four stories. Two were on Britney, one on Paris, and one on Anna Nicole. I figured there was nothing on that network I needed to know to conduct my life. However, they’ll probably have an update on the chick that disappeared in Aruba this week. What’s next? Al Capone’s vault?

Actually, it has been a terrible week for Fox News, I believe that ABC News scooped them big time and had a special on this week featuring Beth Holloway who Fox News thought they owned. I did not see the special but it got some attention.

Wow, Fox News has really sunk that low? Never thought I’d read here in FR that they’ve become a liberal mouthpiece. Always regarded them as the last bastion of conservative news left on TV. I tend to stick with Talk Radio almost exclusively, but still, it’s a bit of a shock. Go figure...
